these words are meant to be felt
Writer — Poet — Host of Hearts & Ink
Hi there! I'm Seun Caleb, Omo ìfẹ́ a writer, poet, and creative based between Lagos, Nigeria and Glasgow, Scotland.
My work explores identity, memory, migration, and the tender corners of human experience. I write essays, poetry, and long-form pieces that live on Medium and Substack.
I also host Hearts & Ink — an intimate poetry reading session that brings together writers, listeners, and lovers of the spoken word in both Glasgow and Lagos. It's a space for vulnerability, beauty, and connection through language.
If you'd like to read my work, visit me on Medium or Substack.

I have just read 7 letters to Ruby and it's the most beautiful thing! It's so lovely and sweet and heartfelt. In all sincerity, it's the best I've read in a while. I write this with tears in my eyes and a smile on my face.

There's something freeing about seeing your own unspoken feelings written out by someone else like proof that you weren't crazy for feeling that way. This book is doing something special.

I read 7 letters to ruby and I absolutely loved it. It reminded me of the sustenance of meaningful love that lasts and seem so genuinely beautiful even from far away. I loved your honesty and vulnerability that you entrusted us your readers with.

Words really can't encompass what I felt when reading it... I think you're a blessed writer and you know how to put your feels into words too smoothly, I had goosebumps at some point.

They feel like pages from my journal, some so personal and deep like I wrote them, others like words spoken directly to me. And the delivery is amazing!

I just want to say it was simply beautiful (simple plus beautiful), it's the littlest thing you think is inconsequential and you make it sound endearing.

The fact that I can relate to this book is sad but also makes my reading experience so much enjoyable. At this point, let me just say you wrote this book for me cause this is definitely more than a coincidence.
